I often get asked by faculty to make the data entry experience just like “Turbo Tax”. This makes a lot of sense for processes that happen infrequently. Here I demonstrate a technical evaluation of what it would take to do just this.

The bottom line: This looks very viable and I’ll continue exploring this for where faculty enter their own awards and award plans into the system. It’s not practical for the awards committee members who are in the system more often and have more types of tasks.
